Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026 · Beta release
1. Beta software
IGotYou is currently in public beta. The service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind. Features, pricing, and availability may change without notice.
2. Authorized use only
You may only scan websites and domains that you own or for which you have explicit written authorization from the owner. Unauthorized scanning may violate computer-misuse laws (including the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the U.K. Computer Misuse Act, the EU NIS2 Directive, and similar legislation worldwide).
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to scan any target. IGotYou, its operators, and contributors disclaim all liability for misuse of the service.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use IGotYou to attack, disrupt, or overload any system.
- Do not use IGotYou to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any data.
- Do not redistribute, resell, or republish scan results that contain third-party secrets.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent rate limits.
4. Data & privacy
We store your account email, scan history (target URL, summary counts, timestamps), and authentication metadata. Findings details are returned in your browser and are not retained on our servers beyond the summary record. We do not sell your data.
5. Account & credits
New accounts receive a complimentary credit allowance during the beta. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. We may adjust the credit system at any time.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IGotYou shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
